Police Mutual's premier cash account is a high interest deposit account that offers:

Opening a Premier Cash Account is easy. All you need to do is:
- Apply Online using our Internet Application Form
- Or Download and print our user-friendly application form in PDF format (This form is provided in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. If you do not have a copy of Acrobat reader click here).
- Enclose your relevant forms of identification
- Choose how you wish to deposit your funds
- Print and sign your application form
- Return your application form, cheque/draft (if applicable) and identification documents to our Freepost address
The following options relate to opening an account in your own name or a joint name. If you would like to discuss other methods, such as opening an account in your partner's name, please contact 0845 045 2626.
Relevant Forms of Identification
Even if you are already a member with Police Mutual, Money Laundering regulation requires us to verify your identity before opening a deposit account for you.
If your application is in your sole name, we require one form of original address verification. Please choose from the list of documents below:
- Inland Revenue Notice of tax coding for this year
- Gas, electricity, water or land telephone utility bill (not mobile) at your current address, dated within 6 months
- Council tax bill for this year at your current address
- Personal financial statements, such as credit card statement or a personal UK bank account at your current address, dated within 3 months
If your application is in joint names, we require one form of original address identification document for each applicant
If you are opening your account by a banker's draft, building society cheque or electronic transfer (CHAPS/SWIFT), we will also require a certified copy of your current passport or driving licence as detailed here
Please note: We will be unable to open your account without the correct verification documents. If you do not have any of the above, please contact us to discuss your options.
How can I make a withdrawal from my Premier Cash Account?
- Call 0845 045 2626 (local rate) and speak to one of our friendly advisors. Lines are open 8am - 8pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England and Wales.
- Please note that 5 days notice is required for withdrawals.
- Electronic payments will only be made to the bank account you specify on the application form.
- Cheques will only be made payable in the name of the account holder.
- Once we have confirmed your details and nominated password, the withdrawal request will begin its notice period.
- Your funds will be sent by cheque or electronic transfer on the 5th calendar day, or if that is not a business day, on the next business day.
- Please note that no withdrawal slips are required.
