Police Mutual's premier cash account is a high interest deposit account that offers:

• Complete access to funds at just 5 days notice
• A high rate of interest, guaranteed to at least equal the Bank of England's base rate until 1st January 2012
• A minimum deposit of just £1
• Interest calculated daily and applied annually (or on date of exit)

Opening a Premier Cash Account is easy. All you need to do is:

1. Apply Online using our Internet Application Form
2. Or Download and print our user-friendly application form in PDF format (This form is provided in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. If you do not have a copy of Acrobat reader click here).
3. Choose how you wish to deposit your funds
4. Sign your application form
5. Return your application form, cheque/draft (if applicable) and any required identification documents to our Freepost address

Relevant Forms of Identification

Even if you are already a member with Police Mutual, Money Laundering regulation requires us to verify your identity before opening a deposit account for you. When we receive your application we will automatically carry out an electronic identity check for you. In the event that this check is insufficient, we will contact you by letter and specify the documentation which we require.

If you are opening your account by a banker's draft, building society cheque or electronic transfer (CHAPS/SWIFT), we will also require a certified copy of your current passport or driving licence as detailed here and an original recently dated statement from the account where these funds originated

How can I make a withdrawal from my Premier Cash Account?

• Call 0845 045 2626 (local rate) and speak to one of our friendly advisors. Lines are open 8am - 8pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England and Wales.
• Please note that 5 days notice is required for withdrawals.
• Electronic payments will only be made to the bank account you specify on the application form.
• Cheques will only be made payable in the name of the account holder.
• Once we have confirmed your details and nominated password, the withdrawal request will begin its notice period.
• Your funds will be sent by cheque or electronic transfer on the 5th calendar day, or if that is not a business day, on the next business day.
• Please note that no withdrawal slips are required.
