bring personalised service back to Banking. Our core activities in the US comprise Commercial Real Estate Lending and  Corporate Treasury. Our aim is to provide lending and treasury services to the business community in New England.
The Boston representative office is part of an integrated banking group, with an asset base of EUR 13bn, supported by capital resources of EUR 1bn. The Bank was incorporated in 1964 and became a public company in 1971. The banks shares are listed on the Stock Exchanges in Dublin and London . The banks shares can also be traded in the United States through our ADRs (American Depository Receipts) kept under the custodial management of Bank of New York. (Ticker symbol AGI BY). The bank is one of four Irish controlled licensed banks, with over 80% of its shares owned by domestic and international institutions.
Banking and Treasury Services are provided through a network of established offices. The bank is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland with 5 further offices located in the main population centers. In the UK, the bank maintains 5 offices; the bank also has banking subsidiaries in the Isle of Man and Austria, where the main activities comprise asset management and depository and custodial services. The bank recently acquired Marcuard Cook & Co, a private bank in Switzerland specializing in private banking and asset management.
