Anglo Irish Bank offer personal depositors the opportunity to avail of some of the most competitive Fixed Term Personal Deposit accounts in the marketplace.
Our Fixed Term Personal Deposit accounts range from short term (1, 3, 6 and 9 months) to medium term (1, 2 years) to long term (3, 4, 5 years).

- The availability of up-to-the-minute interest rates, as these accounts are priced daily to reflect any change in the market rates.
- No other institution offers up to the minute interest rates on medium to long term fixed accounts.

Account Features
- Interest rate guaranteed for the full term of the Account.
- Access to 10% of funds allowed per annum on 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 Year Fixed Term Accounts.
- Interest Options;
1, 3, 6 and 9 month Fixed Term Accounts
- Interest is calculated daily and added to the Account at the end of the term.
1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 Year Fixed Term Accounts
- Interest is calculated daily and added to the Account on the first anniversary and every year thereafter until final maturity.
- Alternatively, a monthly or an annual income option can be taken.
- All interest paid to residents will be subject to Deposit Interest Retention Tax (DIRT), currently 20%
- No additional lodgements permitted after account opening.
- Minimum investment, �2,000, no maximum.
- Must be personal funds.
- Anybody can apply for this account. No age restrictions. No residency restrictions.

Account Communication
- Confirmations;
1, 3, 6 and 9 month Accounts
- Confirmations issued within 48 hours of account opening, with new account number, interest rate and final maturity date.
- Confirmations will also issue if/when the interest rate changes on the Account at final maturity.
1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Year Fixed Term Accounts
- Confirmations issued within 48 hours of account opening, with new account number, interest rate and final maturity date.
- Annual Statements;
1, 3, 6 and 9 month Accounts
- Statements issued on the 31st December each year, if relevant.
1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Year Fixed Term Accounts
- Statements issued on the first anniversary of the Account and every year thereafter until final maturity.
- Interest Certificates available on request.
- For 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 Year Fixed Term Accounts, notification letter with alternative account options, will be sent 14 days prior to final maturity.
