If your application is in your sole name, we require two forms of original address identification documents, from the list below:
- An original recently dated Bank Statement from the account where your initial cheque has originated at your current address (dated within 3 months)
- Inland Revenue Notice of tax coding for this year
- Gas, Electricity, Water or Land Telephone utility Bill (not mobile) at your current address (dated within 6 months)
- Council Tax Bill for this year at your current address
- Other personal financial statements (e.g. credit card statement or another personal UK bank account) at your current address (dated within 3 months)
If your application is in joint names, we require two forms of original address identification documents for each applicant.
If you are opening your account by a bankers/building society draft or by electronic transfer (CHAPS/SWIFT), we will require a certified copy of your current passport or driving licence.
Please note: We will be unable to open your account without the correct
identification documents.
