PUTTING MONEY IN
When operating your account we aim to make the deposit and withdrawal process very simple and efficient.
As well as providing further personal cheques from your nominated UK personal current account, you may also make lodgements by post or transfer to your account, using these three alternatives:
Bankers or Building Society Draft
- Your Bankers or Building Society Draft should be made payable to Anglo Irish Bank
and the name in which your account is held e.g. Anglo Irish Bank John Smith.
Post your draft to our freepost address.
Please quote your account number on the top right hand corner of your cheque/draft.
- The draft should originate from your personal account, held at that
institution, in the same name as your application. If you hold
a joint account the funds must originate from the same named joint
account.
- Please provide us with an original statement dated within the last 3 months from the account where this draft has originated. We will return this statement to you within five business days of receipt.
- We also require a certified copy of your current passport
or driving licence. These documents can be certified by a Bank,
a Building Society or a Solicitor.
Electronic Transfers: BACS (3 Day Transfer) / CHAPS (Same Day Transfer)
- You can instruct your bank to transfer funds electronically as follows:

TAKING MONEY OUT
With our two savings accounts you are not tied in to lengthy notice periods. Your money is accessible immediately with the Easy Access Account, and with just 7 days' notice with the 7 Day Notice Account. It couldn't be easier, or faster, and you're always earning a high rate of interest.
- Call our Personal Savings Team on 0845 455 22 22 (8am - 8pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England and Wales).
- Electronic payments will only be made to the bank account from which your initial lodgement originated.
- Cheques will only be made payable to the same name as the account holder.
- Once we have confirmed your details and characters from your nominated password, the withdrawal request will begin its notice period (if any).
- Please note that no withdrawal slips are required.
