Putting Money In & Taking Money Out

PUTTING MONEY IN

When operating your account we aim to make the deposit and withdrawal processes very simple and efficient.

As well as sending further charity account cheques from your nominated UK charity current account to us by post, you may also make deposit transfers to your account, using BACS.

BACS (3 Day Electronic Bankers Transfer)

You can instruct your bank to transfer funds by BACS as follows:

Sort Code-23-02-40
Account Name-Name of Account holder/(s) i.e. your account name at Anglo Irish Bank
Account Number-Your Account Number (8 digits)
  • Funds can only be accepted where the transfer is made by the named Account Holder (i.e. no third party deposits are permitted).
  • Please provide us with an original statement dated within the last three months from the account where this BACS has originated. We will return this statement to you within five business days of receipt.

Charity cheques or BACS are the two deposit methods we offer. We can't accept any other means of deposit to your account, e.g. electronic payments via CHAPS/SWIFT.

TAKING MONEY OUT

You are not tied in to lengthy notice periods with our Charity Deposit Accounts. Your money is accessible immediately with the Quick Access Charity Deposit Account.

It couldn't be easier, or faster, and you're earning a high rate of interest.

Call our Charity Deposit Team on 0845 045 0900 (8am - 8pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England and Wales).

For all Withdrawals:

  • Electronic payments will only be made to the bank account from which your initial cheque deposit originated.
  • Cheques will only be made payable to the same name as the Account Holder.
  • Once we have confirmed your details and characters from the answers to your security questions, the withdrawal request will begin its notice period (if applicable).
  • Please note that no withdrawal slips are required.
  • No notice required for withdrawals.
