*Funds will be sent by cheque or electronic transfer on that day, or if that is not a business day, on the next business day provided the instruction is received before 2pm on that day.
Please note: BACS transfers usually take 3 working days to become available in your nominated account after the day of transfer.
INFORMATION ON YOUR CHARITY DEPOSIT ACCOUNT IS REGULAR, TRANSPARENT AND EASILY ACCESSIBLE.
- We will send you written confirmation of your new account number, initial deposit and the applicable interest rate within three business days of receiving your application.
- We will confirm any transactions on your account
- We will tell you about any interest rate changes
- We will send you an annual statement on the anniversary of your account being opened, which will include all transactions on your account for the previous year
- We will send out Audit Letters to your accountant on your written request
- You can ask us for a Certificate of Interest at no charge by calling our Charity Deposit Accounts Team on 0845 045 0900 or you can email us
- You can check our interest rates online
By cheque from your charity current account for a minimum amount of £5,000
- Your cheque should be made payable in the same name as the Account Holder and marked 'a/c payee only'
- Your cheque must be drawn on a UK bank or building society charity current account in the name of the Account Holder.
- No third-party cheques will be accepted (i.e. bank or building society drafts, dividends or cheques drawn on another charity or in your personal name(s)).
