We require you to submit:

  • Certified copy of relevant constitution or equivalent document
  • Latest Audited accounts

We will return these documents, if required, to you within five business days of receipt.

We will have to delay the opening of your account if the required documentation is not provided or substantiated. The identification requirements for your Charity Deposit Account are stated above, and depend on the legal status of your charity.

Step 3 - Issue a cheque from your charity current account for your initial deposit - minimum amount of £5,000.

  • Your cheque should be made payable in the same name as the Account Holder and marked 'a/c payee only'.
  • No third-party cheques will be accepted, (i.e. bank or building society drafts, dividends or cheques drawn on another charity or in your personal name(s)).
  • Your cheque must be drawn on a UK bank or building society charity current account in the name of the account holder.
