How to open an account

Payments into your account can be made electronically (by BACS or CHAPS) or by cheque. Please note that receipts and payments must be "first party" only.**

Repayments will be made same day value to your designated bank account by CHAPS without charge. Please advise movements in or out of your account by 14.30 for same day value.

The interest rate and maturity date is arranged by phone and is fixed until maturity.

Deposit interest accrues daily and is credited to your account at maturity. All interest amounts are paid gross of UK tax.

One of our relationship managers will call you on maturity to ascertain your requirements for renewal or repayment.

All telephone calls are recorded for monitoring and training purposes and to ensure a high standard of service is maintained.

** "First party" means that all receipts and repayments should originate from and return to accounts in the same name as the account holder
